Ray of Hope is a support group based in North Sheffield, for families of children with any kind of special needs. We aim to provide peer support through regular meetings and coffee mornings along with access to information about various conditions and disabilities. Monthly meetings have guest speakers with knowledge of various topics such as education, support services and information on various conditions and disabilities. |

What exactly are Special needs?
Our children have a variety of special needs including Autistic spectrum disorders, epilepsy, genetic disorders, sensory difficulties, ADHD, tourette syndrome, OCD and learning difficulties. These things are what make our children special! We recognise our childrens individual abilities and unique personalities and encourage them to be proud of who they are. No child will be excluded because of their differences and strong friendships have been made within the group.
